Just this site alone and even this refinished blog is a miracle in itself and I thank God daily to be able share my life, faith, music, and heart with you! Its been quite the journey! Almost 10 years in the making and now its back up and running!
Past-Earlier Site Versions (V.3) Present +10 years...
It feels like only yesterday I launched and created this site utilizing the basic HTML coding and site building tools, mind you this was before the internet really took off (almost the stone age-not trying to date myself-lol), even before Facebook/MySpace became what it was or people even knew what the web was-lol. However, I saw the opportunity and end result to be able to reach the masses through the internet alone! But my sole purpose, now, in this newly revised site is to promote my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and to showcase-the GREAT things He has done in my life, what He has enabled me to overcome, and even MORE importantly, the WONDERFUL difference He can make in your life!
TRANSITION
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.
Proverbs 3:5-6
Throughout my life, I have gone through several transitions and Jesus has sustained me. In just the past few years I have suffered great trials and tribulations but the Lord delivered me out of them all! From moving from my hometown of Buffalo, NY to Dallas, TX and then back home to Buffalo, it has been quite the journey! (And I'm still not done yet! Lol!) The Lord took me through several wilderness experiences. I faced being alone, rejected, faced homelessness, abuse, battled with depression/anxiety, health issues, financial hardships and had to fight just to survive, miles away from home and even upon moving back. I dealt with broken relationships, familial strain and challenges. Went from walking miles and having to take several buses and trains, to teaching myself how to drive and purchasing my very first car all on my own-with His help of course :).
God blessed me to get back in school, and finish and to get and maintain my own place, instilling independence and strength through my challenges, but by no means was it easy. In addition, I dealt with several near death experiences including a near fatal car accident, and job loss shortly thereafter...I'm telling you when it rained it poured!-But I thank God that I can still stand here, alive today to sing and talk about it! I am not a victim-I'm VICTORIOUS in the Lord and you can be too-if you just TRUST in Him! I'm sure many of you may be able to relate to some aspects of my story-and might I add my story is a lot deeper than what it seems...
VISION
My new podcast CHRIST-IN-A's World just launched and it was a vision I felt God placed on my heart to share my testimony and story with you. Though only the icing on the cake may be covered, I am currently working on an Autobiography (for more information/updates: http://www.christinaelise.com/#!book/c1z3l) to frame my life more in detail so that it may help you through your struggles, increase your faith, and encourage you to trust in the Lord no matter what season you're in or what you've battled with in life! Please bare with me as each episode is broken up in several parts and it pieces together an overall storyline into certain elements in my life. This production is not only just a podcast, but it is a release for me since the devil has tried to derail me several times in completing the work God placed on my heart! But GREATER is HE that is in me than he that is in the world! (1 John 4:4) This vision was birthed in me a while ago, but its not for my glory-but for God's GLORY as he deserves the UTMOST praise! Also, though its been long overdue-God has placed several psalms and hymns in my heart and you may hear some of songs and art laced within my podcast upon an album release. Please continue to keep me in your prayers and heart as I begin to produce more.
DIRECTION
I will also be launching a segway of my video podcast series CHRIST-IN-A'S WORLD including Memoirs, featuring additional commentary about my faith, life, music/endeavors (background), and testimony. Stay tuned!!!
As of recent, I have faced several challenges in the spread of the Gospel and the release of my next few podcasts, but will remain fervent in my call and quest to spread the love and salvation of Jesus Christ in these last days!
